Dr. Tae Jin Park

T.J. Park is Associate Professor of History at the College of Business & Social Sciences at West Virginia State University. Prior to his academic career, he had worked for a trading company in South Korea. After receiving a MA degree from the State University of New York at Albany and Ph.D. from West Virginia University, he has taught a wide range of history courses on the World, the United States, East Asia, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Russia. He wrote articles in journals like Diplomacy & Statecraft, Encuentros, H-Diplo, and authored a chapter in Beyond the Good Earth. In addition, he has been the faculty advisor for Phi Alpha Theta (History Honor Society) at WVSU and an active member of the West Virginia Consortium for Faculty and Course Development in International Studies.
