Arnold M. Hartstein, Ph.D.

Arnold M. Hartstein earned his B.A. in English at Brooklyn College of the City University of New York and his M.A and Ph.D. at The Ohio State University. His primary interest is nineteenth-century British literature. At WVSU he has taught Freshman Composition, Introduction to Literature, and a variety of British literature courses including Medieval, Romantic, Victorian, and Modern. He has also taught General Education 100 (Origins) and was a member of the committee that designed the content and text for that course. He has served as Chair of the English Department, the Program Review Committee, and the Promotion and Tenure Committee.
