INSTITUTE, W.Va. – Alice R. Faucett has been named General Counsel for West Virginia State University (WVSU) effective December 7.

In this role, Faucett will provide legal advice to the President and the WVSU Board of Governors and represent WVSU in legal matters. In addition, she will provide advice to administrators, faculty, staff and affiliated organizations as necessary on matters having legal implications for WVSU.

Faucett most recently served as the general counsel and director of discipline for the West Virginia Board of Examiners for Registered Professional Nurses.
