West Virginia State University Extension Service to Host 4-H Summer Day Camp July 22-26
 
INSTITUTE, W.Va. –West Virginia State University (WVSU) Extension Service will host a free 4-H Summer Day Camp July 22-26 for incoming 3rd through 5th graders on the University’s Institute campus.

“This camp will offer everything a traditional 4-H camp experience offers, except for the mosquitos,” said WVSU 4-H Extension Agent Tabitha Surface. “Campers will participate in hands-on activities relating to science and art, along with the more traditional camp activities like sing-alongs and s’mores.”

The camp will run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at WVSU’s Aerospace Education Laboratory. Drop-off begins at 7:30 a.m. and pickup will run through 6 p.m. each day. Lunch will be provided. 

The WVSU 4-H Summer Day Camp is free to attend, but space is limited. Registration is required and available online now at wvstateu.edu/summer.
