West Virginia State University Football Program to Host Benefit Concert April 28
Dove award-winning gospel musicians Adam Crabb and the Bowling Family to perform

INSTITUTE, W.Va. – West Virginia State University will host a gospel concert to benefit the University’s football program Saturday, April 28, at 6 p.m. at the Milton Performing Arts Center. Dove award-winning musicians Adam Crabb and the Bowling Family will perform.

Proceeds will help pay for academic services, equipment needs and food for WVSU student-athletes.

"We want to welcome everyone to a night of faith, hope and love with Adam Crabb and the Bowling Family,” said Head Football Coach John Pennington. “One hundred percent of the proceeds from this fundraiser go toward our student-athletes, and we are thrilled to host such an exciting event."

For more than 10 years, siblings Adam Crabb and Kelly Bowling toured alongside their father and other siblings as the Dove award-winning Crabb Family, which has been called one of the family dynasties of Southern Gospel music. The group performed regularly until deciding in 2007 to pursue individual careers.

Crabb is currently a member of the Grammy and Dove award-winning Gaither Vocal Band. Kelly joined forced with her husband, Mike, to form the popular Bowling Family group.

Tickets for the concert cost $25 and can be purchased online at connect.wvstateu.edu/AthleticsConcert.

The Milton Performing Arts Center is located at 1 Pumpkin Way in Milton.
