Want to grow your own potatoes but don’t have much space? No worries! This video will show you everything you need to grow potatoes in a container.

What You’ll Need:

  • Compost
  • Container with drainage holes
  • Potting soil
  • Water
  • Potatoes

Instructions:
  1. Place some cardboard in the bottom of the container to prevent soil from spilling through drainage holes.
  2. Add 3 inches of soil.
  3. Top with some compost.
  4. Plant potatoes.
  5. Repeat with a layer of soil and compost.
  6. Give it a good drink of water.
  7. Place in a sunny spot and watch it grow!

As the plants grow, keep adding soil and compost until the container is full. Be careful not to cover the top of the plants, and keep them watered. The potatoes will be ready to harvest soon after the flowers bloom. Simply tip over your container garden to collect your harvest. No digging necessary!
