WVSU 4-H Sponsors Money Matters Program April 15 at Roosevelt Neighborhood Center
INSTITUTE, W.Va. -- The West Virginia State University (WVSU) 4-H Youth Mentoring Program is sponsoring a Money Matters program designed to help families create a budget on Tuesday, April 15, at the Roosevelt Neighborhood Center in Charleston.
The program is free and open to the public and will begin with an informal networking session at 5:30 p.m. The Money Matters program will begin at 6 p.m. in the Community Room.
“We will be discussing how to create a family budget with parents and teens and will have an open question and answer session with financial planning and insurance professionals from the Charleston area,” said Chris Kessell, WVSU Extension Agent for 4-H/Youth Development. “We would like to see both parents and teens attend this event.”
Former small business owner Donteako E. Wilson, who is a Certified Long-Term Care professional, will be leading the event and the question and answer session.
Timothy Gibson, MBA, of Merrill Lynch will also be presenting and participating in the question and answer session.
The Roosevelt Center is located at 502 Ruffner Ave. in Charleston.
