Emily Burdette in Concert
WVSU alumna, Emily Burdette, will perform in concert at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 14 in the theater of the Davis Fine Arts Building.
All students with I.D. admitted FREE. General admission tickets = $10
A native West Virginian, Emily has been writing songs since she was 14 years old. Growing up, her family always enjoyed listening to music together. Her pop/folk style is influenced most by fellow singer-songwriter, Ingrid Michaelson. Her goal is to get her songs played on television shows and in movies. Emily also works as a music video director and works hard to write a script that will really follow the vision of what the artist wants to say with their song.
