Honored At Civil Rights Day Ceremony
WVSU President Hazo W. Carter, Jr. was among the 24 individuals honored at the 9thAnnual Civil Rights Day on Feb. 28. The ceremony took place in the Theater of the WV Culture Center.
This year's theme "Advancing Civil Rights Through Advocacy" recognized those who through their work or avocation advanced the cause of equality.
