Spring 2012 Check-In Procedures

Spring 2012 Semester
Residence hall check-in for students for Spring 2012 will be on the following days.
Returning Students: Saturday & Sunday, January 14th& January 15th, 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
New Students: Wednesday, January 11th, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
CHECK-IN WILL NOT BE PERMITTED AT ANY OTHER TIME
RETURNING STUDENTS will report to McGhee Suites which is adjacent to Sullivan Hall East
NEW STUDENTS will report to the Student Affairs Administrative Office in 323 Sullivan Hall East.
A representative from the University will assist students in verifying class schedules, financial aid requirements, previous balances etc. All balances must be paid in full before a student will be allowed into the residence halls. Once students are processed, they will receive a certified letter and be sent to their assigned residence hall.
At the residence hall, the students will meet their Resident Director and Resident Assistant. Each student, along with the Resident Assistant, will go to their assigned room and inspect the room’s initial conditions. Each student will be required to sign an inventory and damage checklist after initial room inspection. Keys will be given to the student and permission granted to move in their belongings after all procedures are complete.
If you cannot check-in during these times, you will need to have alternate housing arrangements because you will not be permitted to enter the WVSU Residence Halls. Questions about these procedures may be directed to the Office of Student Affairs at 304-766-4139.
