West Virginia State University is hosting the Dance Theater of Harlem Ensemble (DTHE) for a live performance on November 14, 2011. DTHE will present an “Interactive Performance” at 7:00 p.m. in the Davis Fine Arts Theatre in the John W. Davis Fine Arts Building. Tickets are $20.00.
TheInteractive Performancepresented by Dance Theatre of Harlem Ensemble reveals a behind the scenes look at the process of the making of a dance artist. The audience is invited to be involved in the event and a Question and Answer session with the artists concludes the presentation.
DTHE is a leading dance institution that trains young people in classical ballet and the allied arts. The Theatre is an education and community outreach program that provides positive role models, instruction and an introduction to the arts through a ballet company of artists of African-American and diverse backgrounds.
