WVSU Encourages Students to "Return to Learn"

3/25/2010

West Virginia State University’s “Return to Learn” program is designed to admit new or returning students who have earned some college credit, but have not completed a degree.  Students who want to pursue a degree can go to www.wvstateu.edu and click on “Return to Learn” at the left-hand corner of the homepage.  This website provides all the information needed for a new student, a transfer student, or previous WVSU student to complete the process for admission or readmission.  Those who do not have access to a computer can call 304-766-3168 for assistance.

Once students are fully admitted they can sign up for early class registration and advising on either one of these dates:  9:00 am to noon on Saturday, May 1st, or  5:00 to 8:30 pm on Tuesday, May 4th.  Students attending the Saturday session may come to the Wilson Student Union after registration and ask questions about financial aid, or receive assistance with completing the Free Application for Federal Student Assistance (FAFSA).  Those attending the Tuesday session may receive financial aid assistance in the Union between 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm, prior to meeting with their academic advisors and registering for classes.

WVSU Student Financial Assistance and Admissions staff will be available at the following dates and locations for those who have questions or wish to submit an application in person:

Monday, March 29th from 11 am to 2 pm at  the WVSU Capitol Center, 123 Summers Street, Charleston.
