Ayiti (Haiti) the world's first independent black republic is a statement echoed repeatedly as recent reports about the massive devastation of the earthquake have captured our consciousness. The WVSU National Center for Human Relations is conducting this forum in two parts that explores the dynamic culture and history through the literature, music, and philosophy of the island.
