The Office of Retention and Student Success (ORSS) is committed to the success of all West Virginia State University students. ORSS is responsible for the coordination of academic, financial, health, and social services to assist our students in overcoming unforeseen obstacles, getting back on track, and continuing on their path to degree attainment. Our fundamental belief is that all West Virginia State University Students can be successful with the proper support, encouragement, and motivation. It is this belief that drives us to create a campus environment that welcomes, nurtures, and encourages all students at every step of their educational journey.
