The Clay Center will host an All-Star Jazz Tribute to West Virginia State University alumnus Bob Thompson on Saturday, Aug. 26, featuring Gerald Veasley, Alex Bugnon, Marion Meadows, Poogie Bell, and Curtis McCain. Since 1991 Bob Thompson has been a pianist, and regularly featured artist on West Virginia’s NPR syndicated radio show, Mountain Stage.
