International Graduate Student Admissions

Graduate programs each have individual applications and requirements that are specific to each program. Please see the coordinating sections for the program you are interested in.

Please send all graduate admission documents to the department for review. After you are admitted, the Office of International Students will create an I-20, which you need to apply for an F1 student visa from American Embassy in your country.

For us to do so, we still need to receive from you the following:

  1. A clear copy of your passport ID page along with your permanent physical address (no P. O. Box address)
  2. Financial Affidavit of Support along with bank statements and/or award letters
  3. FERPA Release Authorization Form
  4. Your immunization record of MMR  (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
  5. Transfer-in Verification Form & a copy of your I-20/DS2019 if you are currently in the U.S. with an F-1 or J-1 visa status.

Please send the above documents to International@wvstateu.edu
