West Virginia State University Announces Inaugural Justin Smith Morrill Scholarship Award

West Virginia State University (WVSU) biology major Sarah Greenberg has received the inaugural Justin Smith Morrill Scholarship. The $2,500 scholarship is awarded by the 1890 Universities Foundation to students studying food and agricultural sciences.

West Virginia State University Extension Service to Host Farming and Food Manufacturing Workshop Series

West Virginia State University (WVSU) Extension Service will host a free series of workshops on entrepreneurial farming and food manufacturing throughout Kanawha County beginning Feb. 20 in Charleston. The series leads into the upcoming West Virginia Urban Agriculture Conference and Community Expo, taking place on the University’s campus in May.
