Programs & Options
The College includes the Department of Accounting, Department of Economics, Finance & Marketing, Department of Management & Management Information System, Department of History & Poltical Science and the Department of Psychology & Sociology. The school is a member of the AACSB (Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs). 

The College offers degrees in Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Bachelor of Arts, and Masters in Public Administration and we are working on new program offerings. Students in the business program may pursue concentrations in Accounting, Agricultural Economics, Agribusinesss, Economics, Finance, International Business, Marketing, Management and Management Information Systems. The Bachelor of Arts program allows students to pursue majors and minors in Economics, History, Political Science, Psychology, and Sociology & Philosophy. Our flexible programming architecture enables you to enhance your career options and attractiveness to employers by allowing you to complement your major area of study with other concentrations. 

The College also encourages you to participate in internships with industry partners and in student internships, clubs, case competitions and honor societies.  Top recruiters representing both statewide and nationwide companies visit our campus frequently allowing students an opportunity to network and interview with potential employers.

Mission Statement
The mission of College of Business and Social Sciences to

 i)        offer high quality undergraduate and graduate programs that prepare a diverse student population to succeed in their careers and to become engaged citizens in their neighborhoods and the global economy,
 ii)       conduct scholarly research that advances disciplinary practice and theory, contributes to teaching and learning and informs public policy decision making, and
iii)      contribute to the economic development needs of the state and the region in the pursuit of widely shared prosperity and well-being.
