WVSU Extension Service is partnering with representatives from a variety agricultural
agencies, including the USDA, to host a meet-and-greet session with farmers at the National
Guard Armory in Welch, W.Va., on Tuesday, May 9, from 4 to 7 p.m.

WVSU students have a new avenue to seek federal programs and career opportunities
thanks
to the United States Department of Agriculture – Office of Advocacy and Outreach (USDA-OAO).
Through the USDA-OAO 1890 Program, a USDA 1890 Program Liaison has been placed on the
University’s Institute campus.

of
the National Broadcasting Society – Alpha Epsilon Rho (NBS-AERho) has been named the
national Chapter of the Year by the organization for 2016-2017.
