STRAIGHT 2 STATE

Straight 2 STATE is an innovative program that allows students who complete an associate’s degree from our partner community and technical colleges a smoother transition to earning a bachelor’s degree at West Virginia State University.

Through the Straight 2 STATE program, students from participating community and technical colleges who earn an associate’s degree and meet our admissions requirements for WVSU will be admitted into their selected major. In addition, all of a student's academic credits will transfer and be credited toward their degree. The agreement becomes effective with the fall 2018 semester.

Students shall express interest and enroll in the Straight 2 STATE program by the end of their first semester at their community and technical college.  At the conclusion of their first semester,  students in the program will be paired with a WVSU advisor who will co-advise the student to facilitate a smooth transition into the University.
