📖Why did you pick WVSU and your major?

“I chose Agri-Economics because I thought that it would be fun, and I also had the opportunity to be an 1890 Scholar and receive a scholarship for my education. I chose WVSU because I just love the school, and once I got here, the faculty in my department is just perfect and helpful. They will do anything for their students.”

🌎What other activities/organizations do you participate in at WVSU?

“I am a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success!”

🐝Do you have a favorite memory or achievement during your time at WVSU?

“I’d say that my favorite achievement would be when I got into the National Society of Leadership and Success. My favorite WVSU memory is when the power went out last semester and everyone in the dorm got to hang out with each other in the hallway. We all had our doors open in case anyone needed help, and I really enjoyed the community that we got to build from that.”

🖤💛If you could give advice to any prospective student, what would it be?

“They should get to know all the professors that they have. Stay after class, get help, ask questions! All of that will help your professors know you, and it builds a great network. Also, get to know your advisors because they are the ones that help out the most when you’re registering for classes. Finally, spend time with friends but leave time for yourself!”
