Zach is a lifelong West Virginian from Morgantown who has lived in Charleston for over a decade. He is committed to utilizing digital media to convey the stories of our state and its residents. As a digital production specialist with WVSU Extension Service, Zach creates high-quality videos, podcasts and multimedia content to educate, engage and empower communities. His work focuses on highlighting economic development initiatives, supporting digital literacy efforts and enhancing the reach of WVSU’s outreach programs.
With a background in video production and a strong commitment to innovative communication, Zach strives to create media that informs and inspires action, helping West Virginians connect with valuable WVSU resources and opportunities. In his role, he collaborates with educators, community leaders and industry professionals to develop media that boosts public engagement and workforce development. He also leads hands-on workshops, such as “Create Now!”, which introduce youth to video and podcast production and provide them with practical digital skills.
By leveraging media to bridge gaps in education and economic opportunity, Zach supports WVSU Extension’s mission to serve the state and ensure that essential stories—whether they highlight advancement, innovation or community resilience—reach the audiences that need them most.
