Stacy Herrick received her bachelor’s degree in art from Washington & Jefferson College in 2006 and her master’s degree in Information Design & Technology from the State University of New York Institute of Technology in 2013.
From 2007 to 2010, she worked as a graphic designer at her alma mater, Washington & Jefferson College. In 2010, she moved to Morgantown, West Virginia, to work in the pre-press department of a print company to deepen her understanding of the printing industry. Next, her career would take her further south to Institute, West Virginia, as she worked in varying capacities with WVSU Agricultural Research & Extension from 2013 to 2023, including as Director of Communications (2021–2023) and Assistant Director of Communications (2020–2021), where she collaborated on multiple award-winning marketing and design campaigns. In 2023 she was named the marketing director of Patriot Guardens, an agricultural education program of the West Virginia National Guard. She returned to WVSU Agricultural Research & Extension in the spring of 2026.
Outside the office, Stacy enjoys coaching girls basketball for the South Hills Youth Basketball League, spending time with her husband Andy and their three kids, Abbey, Miles, and Ella, and taking her dog, Rusty, for walks.
