Join us at WVSU for Community Arts Camp June 26-30 from 8:30-5pm on the beautiful campus of West Virginia State University! We’re excited to announce our innovative and creative arts camp for students grades 6-12 from Southern and Central West Virginia. We’ve gathered local, professional artists and emerging WVSU arts students to provide practical, project based arts education. Our education philosophy relies upon student produced theatre, dance, music, visual art and technical theatre production. We give students the skills to create their own theatrical production; a necessity in professional arts production. Students choose from a variety of classes including advanced and beginner/intermediate acting, special effects makeup, photography, musical theatre dance and voice and so much more! All of our hard work culminates in a Showcase Performance for the community, friends and family! Tuition is $180 and includes your camp t-shirt! Registration opens April 15th, stay tuned for more information.
