INSTITUTE, W.Va. – West Virginia State University (WVSU) will sponsor a screening and panel discussion of “Tipping the Pain Scale,” a film that explores the systems that have been ineffective in curbing the opioid epidemic and the solutions addiction professionals have started to implement.
The screening will take place Wednesday, September 14, at 4 p.m. in the James C. Wilson University Union. The event is free and open to the public.
This event is a collaborative effort between the WVSU Collegiate Recovery Community, WVSU Counseling and Wellness Services, and the WV Collegiate Recovery Network.
