WVSU Requests Proposals for Human Rights Conference

INSTITUTE, W.Va.West Virginia State University’s (WVSU) College of Business and Social Sciences, in collaboration with the National Center for Human Relations, is requesting proposal submissions for the Human Rights Conference scheduled for April 10-12, 2014. Academicians, practitioners and students are encouraged to submit proposals for consideration by Jan. 15, 2014.
The conference will focus on “21 Century Agenda for Human Rights Theory and Practice.” Interdisciplinary abstracts, papers, presentations, posters, roundtables, workshops and panels that directly or indirectly address the conference theme are eligible for submission.
“Our goal is to work toward an agenda for the 21 century to address important areas of human rights,” said Dr. David Bejou, dean of the College of Business and Social Sciences. “We’re encouraging all academicians, practitioners and students to participate, especially those in West Virginia.”

The best papers will be selected from each track for publication in the Journal of Relationship Marketing. Proposal abstracts of no more than 300 words should be submitted to Bejou at dbejou@wvstateu.edu by Jan. 15, 2014.
