WVSU Extension Service to Discuss GIS Applications for Landowners and Farmers at Virtual ‘Ag Talk Tuesday’ February 8

Contact: Jack Bailey (304) 766-4109 jbaile19@wvstateu.edu INSTITUTE, W.Va. – West Virginia State University (WVSU) Extension Service’s monthly Ag Talk Tuesday series continues Tuesday, February 8, at 7 p.m. EST with a discussion of Geographic Information Services (GIS) applications for landowners and farmers.
WVSU Extension Service – Agriculture and Natural Resources will be joined by Seth Davidson, WVSU Extension Service GIS Specialist, who will discuss which geospatial services can aid farmers and landowners with their management goals.
Davidson will also explain the basics of GIS and spatial mapping for resources management, in addition to highlighting various free online tools.
