WVSU Extension Service and KISRA Hosting Free Agriculture Workshops in Dunbar

INSTITUTE, W.Va. – West Virginia State University (WVSU) Extension Service will present a series of free workshops to help beginning and experienced gardeners learn a variety of garden management and production techniques on Thursday, Aug. 6, beginning at 9 a.m. at the Kanawha Institute for Social Research and Action (KISRA) Paradise Farms in Dunbar.
The workshops will include sessions on mushrooms, brambles and container gardening. The full schedule is as follows:
The series of workshops is made possible by a grant from the United States Department of Agriculture’s Socially Disadvantaged Farmer and Rancher Program.
