WVSU Extension Family Consumer Sciences Health Symposium 2025 set for March 11

INSTITUTE, W.Va. — The West Virginia State University (WVSU) Extension Family Consumer Sciences (FCS) Health Symposium will be held on March 11 at the James C. Wilson University Union.

The event is free and open to the public and promises to be a collaborative gathering to promote health awareness, education and community engagement.

Various organizations, including FamilyCare Health Centers, West Virginia Health Right, Vandalia Health, WVSU and many more, will showcase their services at the symposium. Attendees can connect with health professionals and learn more about the resources available in the community. The seminar will also feature a lineup of speakers, highlighting experts from diverse health backgrounds. 

During the day’s activities, a raffle will occur every hour, allowing attendees to win healthy food items and WVSU merchandise. A complimentary lunch will be provided at noon.
