West Virginia State University is happy to annouce that WVSU Engineering Day will be held on March 4, 2023 (Saturday from 10am – 2pm).

There will be several Hands-on Fun Activities in Engineering:

• Bridge building competition
• Prepare a Shampoo and determine the comparative effectiveness of surfactants
• Build Foam Rocket and participate in the launch competition
• Design a container to keep an ice cube from melting for as long as possible
• And more!

Manila Folder Bridge:
        You are going to build a Manila Folder Bridge (according to the design and direction provided below) at home and bring it on the WVSU Engineering Day and will participate in the competition.
