WVSU Also Recognized As Fifth Best for Online Programs in West Virginia
INSTITUTE, W.Va. — West Virginia State University’s (WVSU) online bachelor in health sciences degree program has been ranked the ninth best in the nation by Intelligent.com, an online resource for program rankings and higher education planning.
According to Intelligent.com, health sciences degrees can prepare students for numerous health care jobs, including clinical laboratory technologists, dieticians and nutritionists, and biostatisticians.
The company assessed 39 colleges and universities for the ranking. They evaluated each program based on four factors, including academic quality, graduation rate, cost and return on investment, and student resources. They then used a ranking methodology to calculate the Intelligent Score for each program on a scale from zero to 100. WVSU received a 96.41 percent.
WVSU’s online Bachelor’s in Health Sciences degree requires 120 credits to graduate.
Intelligent.com also ranked WVSU as the fifth best online college in West Virginia, awarding it a 94.91 Intelligent Score. WVSU offers six online undergraduate bachelor’s degrees, including business administration/accounting, business administration/management, criminal justice, English/technical writing, health science, and Regents Bachelor of Arts. At the graduate level, WVSU offers an online Master of Education in Instructional Leadership degree.
