October 24, 2025

INSTITUTE, W.Va. — West Virginia State University (WVSU) is inviting all high school students who participate in its early enrollment program to attend its football game against Glenville State University on Saturday, Nov. 1, for free.

The football game kicks off at 1 p.m. at Dickerson Stadium and will feature free gifts and a tour for early enrollment students, a halftime contest where students will compete for a
$5,000 scholarship, as well as a raffle for a $500 scholarship. Parents of early enrollment students will receive discounted tickets to the game.

There are more than 2,000 students participating in the early enrollment program this fall at 33 high schools throughout 11 West Virginia counties.

“We want our early enrollment students to spend the day on our campus and see firsthand what it means to be part of the West Virginia State University family,” said Brandy Conrad, director of academic educational outreach for WVSU. “We want them to experience the game day environment and learn more about all of the academic programs and services we have available to support them on their educational journey.”

Early enrollment students are asked to complete an online signup form by Oct. 30 to register for free tickets. The form can be found at https://bit.ly/4o1C4uR.
