West Virginia State University Students’ Work Featured at Undergraduate Research Day

Contact: Jack Bailey (304) 766-4109 jbaile19@wvstateu.edu INSTITUTE, W.Va. — Ten West Virginia State University (WVSU) student research projects will be showcased at the State Capitol as part of the 17 Annual Undergraduate Research Day Friday, Feb. 7.
The event will take place from 8:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. in the State Capitol rotunda, and will feature research posters from students representing 11 colleges and universities throughout the state. This year marks the second time WVSU has served as the lead organizer of the day’s events.
WVSU student research on display includes the following projects in the fields of biology, chemistry, computer science and criminal justice:
