INSTITUTE, W.Va. – West Virginia State University (WVSU) will welcome both new and returning students back to campus on Tuesday, Jan. 21, as classes begin for the spring semester.
There is still time for those interested in attending WVSU to complete the application process and register for classes before the start of the semester. “Staff in Enrollment Management and Student Affairs is looking forward to welcoming new and continuing students for the spring semester,” said Katherine McCarthy, vice president of Enrollment Management and Student Affairs. “We’ll be offering some new activities and events along with time-tested favorites to support student success and provide the best possible student experience.”
This spring semester, students can enroll in a new program. The energy management concentration will provide WVSU graduates with the knowledge and skills needed to excel across various aspects of the oil and gas industry.
Residence halls opened on Wednesday, Jan. 15, for new students and will open Saturday, Jan. 18, for returning students. Campus will be closed on Monday, Jan. 20, in observance of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday.
