INSTITUTE, W.Va. – West Virginia State University (WVSU) has been recognized as one of the best companies to work for in the state of West Virginia by Zippia, a website that helps job seekers find new career paths.
In recognizing WVSU, Zippia cited the institution’s commitment to diversity and inclusion as well as its mission as a land-grant university to constantly add new programs and services to better serve the needs of students and the surrounding community.
“This recognition shows what we have known all along, that West Virginia State University is a great place to work, and that we treat our employees like family,” said WVSU Interim President Dr. R. Charles Byers. “This commitment also shows through in our employees’ dedication to our students and providing them a world class educational experience.”
