CHARLESTON, W.Va. — West Virginia State University (WVSU) hosted a grand opening celebration today for its new WVSU Center located at 107 Capitol St. in the heart of downtown Charleston.
WVSU President Ericke S. Cage was joined by Charleston Mayor Amy Shuler Goodwin, and other state and local officials to celebrate the opening of the new center which is designed to serve as a hub for social and economic mobility for the state and region.
“This is a great day for West Virginia State University as we officially open our WVSU Center to the community,” said WVSU President Ericke S. Cage. “This center will be home to a number of transformative programs that will empower citizens of the city of Charleston and the surrounding region to advance in their lives and professional careers.”
