INSTITUTE, W.Va. – The annual West Virginia State University (WVSU) Homecoming 5K Run/Walk will take place Saturday, Sept. 23, beginning at 8:30 a.m. on the plaza of the James C. Wilson University Union.
Register online at . The cost is $20 in advance of the race, and the first 100 registered participants will receive a t-shirt. Registration will also be available on the day of the event beginning at 7:30 a.m. in the portal of Keith Scholars Hall. Race day registration is $25.
The Run/Walk will feature the following age divisions; 13 and under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and over 60. The top three overall finishers, and top three finishers in each division, will receive an award.
Proceeds will benefit WVSU women’s athletics.
