INSTITUTE, W.Va. – The fourth annual West Virginia State University (WVSU) Homecoming 5K Run/Walk will take place Saturday, Oct. 10, beginning at 7:30 a.m. on the plaza of the James C. Wilson University Union.
Register online at . The cost is $20, and the first 100 registered participants will receive a t-shirt. Registration will also be available on the day of the event beginning at 6:30 a.m. Race day registration is $25.
The Run/Walk will feature the following age divisions; 13 and under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and over 60. The top three overall finishers, and top three finishers in each division, will receive an award.
Proceeds will benefit the WVSU Students Matter Most Fund, which assists students with financial need whose scholarships do not cover all of their college expenses.
