Contact: Jack Bailey (304) 766-4109 jbaile19@wvstateu.edu INSTITUTE, W.Va. – West Virginia State University (WVSU) Extension Service will host a free tree grafting workshop on Saturday, March 30, from 9 a.m. to noon at the WVSU Economic Development Center (EDC) in Charleston.
“Participants in this workshop will learn how to propagate fruit and nut trees through hands-on grafting techniques,” said WVSU Extension Agent Kristie Martin. Grafting is a horticultural technique in which plant tissues are joined in order to continue their growth together.

The WVSU EDC is located at 1506 Kanawha Blvd. West in Charleston. Parking is available in the EDC lot or at the nearby Beltone store.
