The series includes five sessions, to be taught through Zoom and other online methods.
“This workshop series will help make farm planning easier, more productive and sustainable,” said Dr. Annette G. Ericksen, assistant director for agriculture and natural resources at WVSU. The series is ideal for producers who own or lease land for agricultural purposes, Ericksen said.
The schedule of sessions is as follows. Originally planned as in-person workshops, the sessions are moving online in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Registration for the introductory session is available at . Additional details and registration links will be announced on the website as planning continues.
Funding for the series is provided by the 1890 Universities Foundation. To learn more, contact Ericksen at or (614) 271-3005.
The series is one of several ways WVSU Extension Service is transitioning its programs online in response to the coronavirus outbreak. Additional programs are being delivered through such outlets as digital courses, downloadable activities, educational videos and Facebook Live sessions.
