Waterlines Flushed at West Virginia State University

INSTITUTE, W.Va. – In accordance with guidelines issued by West Virginia American Water Co., the waterlines have now been flushed at West Virginia State University (WVSU) and tap water is now available for regular use including drinking, cleaning, bathing, cooking and laundry.
Waterlines on the school’s Institute campus were flushed throughout the day on Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2014. All University offices opened Wednesday allowing students preparing for the semester to make payments, visit the bookstore or make any other necessary arrangements.
Spring semester classes at WVSU begin Tuesday, Jan. 21.
