Criminal Justice Career Fair Will Be Held Oct. 17

INSTITUTE, W.Va. – West Virginia State University (WVSU) will hold its annual Criminal Justice Career Fair tomorrow, Thursday, Oct. 17, from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the James C. Wilson University Union.
The Criminal Justice Career Fair is open to all majors as well as to the public. Admission is free.
“This is an opportunity for students to network with employers and learn about current and future employment,” said Sandy Maharaj, Director of the Office of Career Services and Co-operative Education at WVSU. “As well as graduate school opportunities within the law enforcement and criminal justice fields.”
The following groups and organizations are participating in the Criminal Justice Career Fair: Appalachian School of Law, U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency, W.Va. Division of Juvenile Services, Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office, W.Va. Division of Corrections, FBI CJIS Division, Federal Prison Camp – Alderson, U.S. Air Force, Ohio State Highway Patrol, South Central Regional Jail, U.S. Army, U.S. Probation Office, U.S. Marshal’s Service, W.Va. DHHR, W.Va. Division of Natural Resources Law Enforcement, W.Va. State Police, West Virginia University Law School, WVSU – ROTC and WVSU – Master’s Program in Law Enforcement Administration.
