The Employee Recognition Ceremony is held each spring at the James C. Wilson University Union. This campus wide program serves to publicly recognize work and community accomplishments which in turn help to build morale and motivate our employees. At the conclusion of the ceremony, a reception will take place for all to visit and congratulate the recipients being honored. All employees of WVSU are welcome to attend.
Service Year Recognition honorees will include employees beginning with ten years of consecutive eligible service to the university, followed then in five year increments. Periods of service in part-time (temporary) appointments, including appointments as a student worker or graduate assistant, are not counted for the purpose of this program. The eligible member must be in active service on their service milestone date in order to receive this award. Members in leave of absence status will receive their awards upon their return.
