In order to access a MyState account, you must be admitted as a student to West Virginia State University. You will need your student ID number to login. Your student ID number begins with an “A”. You must use a capital letter A. The username is case sensitive.
Students are advised to check their MyState account and West Virginia State University webmail regularly as additional documents may be needed once initial documents are submitted. Students will be contacted by their financial aid counselor regarding any documents or additional information needed to determine finanial aid eligibility.
Steps to Viewing Outstanding Requirements
When you enter the secure area:
1.) Click the “Financial Aid” tab
2.) Click “Eligilbility”
3.) Select the “Academic Year” from the drop down box
4.) Click on “Student Requirements”
*All outstanding documents will be listed on the “Student Requirements” tab.
