Early Enrollment Academic Calendar

 

DROP REQUEST 

To request to be dropped from your early enrollment/dual credit course, please first review the Early Enrollment Academic Calendar for applicable dates, then email your drop request to earlyenrollment@wvstateu.edu using your WVSU email address.
 

logging in to mystate

On the MyState portal, students are able to pay tuition bills, look at the courses they are registered for, and review their unofficial transcript. Access to MyState can be found here.
 

  • Username: everything before “@wvstateu.edu”
  • Password: if you cannot remember your password or if this is the first time you are logging in, you can click on the “Forgot Password” option. You will then follow the instructions to reset your password.

logging in to myonline

MyOnline, also referred to as WVSU Online and Moodle, is WVSU’s Leaning Management System (LMS). This is where all of our online courses are presented. If you are taking a fully online course, please follow the steps below to get started with MyOnline.
 

  • Click the MyOnline link at the top of the university’s website (www.wvstateu.edu)
  • Sign in with your university assigned username and password. This is the same login information you use for MyState.
    • Username: everything before “@wvstateu.edu”
    • Password: Same as the one setup for MyState or university email account. If you cannot remember your password or if this is the first time you are logging in, you can click on the “Forgot Password” option. You will then follow the instructions to reset your password.
  • Once signed in to MyOnline, you will be on the home page. From there, you can access the courses you are currently enrolled in, as well as training and other resources. 

PAYING your tuition bill

To pay online and view the tuition bill, students must log onto their MyState account here.
 

  • Username: Your WVSU Student Email address (everything before the “@wvstateu.edu”)
  • Password: If you cannot remember your password or if this is the first time you are logging in, you can click on the “Forgot Password” option. Follow instructions to reset password.
  • Click the “Student” tab.
  • Click on “Student Records”
  • Click on “Account Summary by Term”
  • Scroll to the bottom and click on Credit Card Payment
  • Select the appropriate Term payment is for and Submit
  • Follow payment instructions given

To pay in person:
You can pay at the Cashier’s Office Monday – Friday from 8:30am – 4:30pm. The Cashier’s Office is located in Ferrell Hall, Room 117.
 
To pay via mail:
Make sure that payment is mailed in enough time to ensure arrival to the Cashier’s office by the end of the business day on the payment due date. Please endure that an address and phone number, as well as the student A number are included on the check.
 
Make checks payable to West Virginia State University and mail to the following address:
