Admission into programs for professions that require licensure, certification, or credentialing does not guarantee that students will obtain a license, certificate, or credential. | The U.S. Department of Education has implemented regulations (Regulation 34 CFR 668.43 (a) (5) (v)) which requires West Virginia State University’s Bachelor Degree in Nursing Program to provide a list of all states/jurisdictions where the institution’s curriculum meets state educational requirements for professional licensure or certification. This information is only for initial licensure by exam requirements for the state listed. 2. Students should contact the Board of Nursing in the state they would like to be initially licensed in for more specific information. 3.
