Business Administration involves the study of a wide variety of topics related to all types of for-profit and non-profit organizations. Specific Business Administration areas available for study at WVSU include: Accounting, Energy Management, Finance, International Business, Management, Management Information Systems, and Marketing.
Students who have a degree in Business Administration find a diverse array of available career opportunities. Some graduates start and oversee operations of their own businesses while other graduates find positions as cost accountants, IRS agents, state auditors, bank examiners or FBI agents. They may also find work as bank loan officers, corporate marketing executives, certified financial planners, insurance specialists, management information systems executives, energy executives, or database administrators. Others find positions as business consultants, human resource managers, government agency executives and public agency officials.
