The health and safety of our West Virginia State University students, faculty and staff are our highest priority.

Many have traveled domestically and internationally during the winter holiday break and we hope you maintained the same level of social distancing and monitoring symptoms as you would if you were on campus.

The success of returning to campus requires a joint effort from every member of our campus community. Before returning, be sure to self-assess, monitor any symptoms and follow COVID-19 guidelines set forth by the Kanawha-Charleston Health Department and the CDC.

For vaccinated faculty and staff, please provide a copy of your vaccination records.

For vaccinated and non-vaccinated faculty and staff, please provide a negative COVID-19 test result prior to returning to campus for the spring 2022 semester. We encourage all to participate in the campus’ test and vaccine clinics on Thursday, December 30, 2021, Wednesday, January 5, 2022, and Thursday, January 13, 2022.

Faculty and staff will provide results to the Office of Human Resources.
