The Office of Undergraduate Admissions wishes you the best on your academic and personal achievements. We extend a warm invitation for you to become a part of the WVSU family. Prospective students should plan to begin their application for admission at least six months prior to the start of the semester in which they wish to begin classes.

Early Enrollment

First Time Freshman Undergraduate Admissions

Application Fee $20- Non-refundable
Official high school transcript (2.0 cumulative GPA)
Immunization Records (if born after January 1, 1957)

Transfer Student Undergraduate Admissions

Application Fee $20- Non-refundable
2.0 cumulative GPA
30 credit hours or more
Immunization Records (exempt if transferring from a public West Virginia College or University)

General Applicants

Select Post Graduate if you received a 4 year degree at another institution and are returning to take coursework (not seeking an additional degree).

Select Transient if you are a student at a different institution and would like to take classes as a visiting student.

Graduate Admissions

Choose Graduate Admission if you have completed a bachelor’s degree and plan to move on to a master’s level program.
