West Virginia State University to Offer Free Agribusiness Education Workshop in Charleston

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — West Virginia State University (WVSU), in collaboration with the Kanawha County Public Library, will host a free Agri-Academy workshop at the library’s downtown Charleston location Saturday, July 12, from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Attendees will enhance their knowledge and skills in agribusiness, economics, marketing and finance.

Designed for people ages 14 and up, the workshop will cover key topics for success in agribusiness and related fields and equip attendees with valuable strategies and insights that can be applied in today’s evolving agricultural economy. 

Participants will enjoy a complimentary lunch and receive a certificate of completion to acknowledge their participation and newfound skills. Interested individuals are encouraged to register before the July 5 application deadline. 

The workshop will be held in Meeting Room 311B at the Kanawha County Public Library branch located at 123 Capitol Street in Charleston.
